- Note that for the shot_list_old.data, the RP values indicate:
- distance from the center of the tokamak to the entrance of the collimator for Channel 0 (or to the entrance of the collimator for Detector 4)
- Note that for the shot_list_new.data, the setpoint values are:
- the input value to the RP control box during data collection
A. (TOP) The PD probe head's porthole of the tokamak, as well as the central axis of the reciprocating probe arm, lies along the R-axis. The base of the RP has its center or origin as indicated. All PD Channel collimator entrance offsets are measured from this origin.
(BOTTOM) The base of the RP lies along the R-axis.
B. (TOP) Looking at the poloidal cross section of the tokamak, of the PD head yields the following Z-axis and R-axis, with the Y-axis going into the page.
(BOTTOM) The horizontal displacements along the R-axis between the entrance of each Channel's collimator to the base of the RP (as defined in
Figure Set 3.A.).
